5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are used by analytics services to understand how visitors use the site:

  • Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC (United States)
  • Yandex Metrica, provided by Yandex LLC (Russian Federation)

Non-essential cookies are only set where you have given consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings on the site or through your browser settings. Blocking cookies in your browser may affect how parts of the website work.

6. Who I share data with

I do not sell your personal data, and I do not share it for advertising purposes. Your data may be processed by the following service providers, acting on my behalf:

Provider Location Purpose
Hostinger International Ltd. European Union Website hosting and data storage
Google LLC United States Email (Gmail) and website analytics (Google Analytics)
Yandex LLC Russian Federation Website analytics (Yandex Metrica)

I may also disclose data where I am required to do so by law, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where a project requires it, technical information you send may be shared with a subcontractor engaged to work on your project — but only with your prior agreement, and only under the same confidentiality terms that apply to me.

7. Confidentiality of technical information

Technical materials you send to me — drawings, geometry, measurement data, specifications, operating parameters — are treated as confidential regardless of whether a separate non-disclosure agreement has been signed. They are used solely for the purpose of preparing a proposal or performing the agreed work, and are not published, reused in other projects, or shown to third parties without your written permission. A formal NDA can be signed on request, before any technical information is exchanged.

8. International transfers

Because my clients, my service providers and I are located in different countries, your personal data may be transferred outside your country of residence — in particular to the European Union, the United States, the Russian Federation and Vietnam. Where such a transfer takes place, I take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, including through the contractual terms of the service providers listed in Section 6.

9. How long I keep your data
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 3 years from our last contact
  • Project correspondence and deliverables: up to 5 years from completion of the work
  • Contract, accounting and tax records: for the period required by applicable law
  • Marketing contact details: until you withdraw your consent

Once the retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request confirmation of whether I hold personal data about you, and obtain a copy of it
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • request deletion of your data
  • request restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and have it transmitted to another controller
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal
  • lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence

To exercise any of these rights, write to egor@gordeeveng.com . I will respond within 30 days. I may need to ask you for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

11. Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control, and restricting access to project materials to those who need it to perform the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

This website is intended for business users. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided me with personal data, please contact me and I will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at this address, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Material changes will be indicated clearly.
